POS Systems Support Specialist

for an adventure? Our energetic company is looking for an POS
Systems Support Specialist to join our team.
PowerCard Overview:
PowerCard provides rewards and gift card programs to hundreds
of restaurants and retailers across the US. We typically install
software on their Windows-based point-of-sale or we install a
VeriFone credit card terminal. From time to time, these clients
require our support to maintain the software.
Job
Description:
The POS Systems Support Specialist will be responsible for talking
to clients on the phone and using email to troubleshoot their
issues. The majority of work will be contacting clients during
slow business hours and working remotely on their software installations.
The position is work-from-home and the hours are flexible. The
estimated workload is 10 hours per week and the hourly compensation
is $14-$16 depending on experience and efficiency. We are currently

Requirements:
-Well versed in Windows systems
-Basic networking skills
-Basic hardware skills (printer installation
and troubleshooting)
-Remote management software knowledge (VNC, PC Anywhere)
-Good communication skills
-Ability to work with
little supervision
-Should be able to direct someone in basic computer
operations over the phone (navigating Windows Explorer, finding
files, etc)
-POS familiarity a plus (Aloha, Micros, Squirrel,
Digital Dining, Positouch)
-Broadband internet connection
-Able to schedule 1-2 hour blocks of uninterrupted
time
Must be available to work before 11am and/or
after 1pm in target time zones Mountain, Central, and Eastern
